Arizona Winter Seasonal Furnished Rentals

Arizona Furnished Rental - Welcome to Arizona
Arizona 100 year Anniversary

Arizona Furnished | Winter Rentals

Looking for Arizona Furnished Rental is a daunting task! Seasonal winter rentals (October – May) have become increasingly hard to find. This is due to a large number of retiring baby boomers. Also, the majority of retired Canadians have gone back to renting rather than owning because of the week Canadian dollar.

Re: Arizona 55+ Communities | Seasonal Rentals

You recently registered on my website (ARIZONA 55+ COMMUNITIES | www.JustJarl.com) inquiring about rentals. Unfortunately, we do not work with rental homes.

Most 55+ plus communities have established their own Google Groups and FaceBook pages, allowing their residents to advertise their homes for rent on their own. We as real estates agents, rarely hear about rentals within 55+ communities. They do not let you join those groups unless you are a resident. You have to know of someone that lives within a particular community that can watch and or advertise for a rental for you. Hopefully, the tips listed below will assist you in finding what you are looking for.

  • If you are in Arizona, drive the various communities. Most have bulletin boards where residents can post ads. They are usually near the community center.
  • Some communities have their own websites that offer classifieds.
  • Google search Arizona Vacation Rental websites
  • Check CraigsList – Be careful with this one before sending deposits. Check county tax records to make sure that you are talking to the owner or rental company acting on behalf of the homeowner.
  • The largest 55+ communities such as Sun City West, Sun City, Sun City Grand, and Sun Lakes have a rental department. I would call the homeowner’s association for the contact information.
  • Finally, the reason real estate agents are not taking the time to respond to your calls and/or emails about rentals is, unfortunately, there is no way for them to make a living trying to find seasonal rentals with the amount of time and travel that is involved

Again, I wish you well in your rental search – I know it is a frustrating process! If a home purchase presents itself in your future, I would appreciate the opportunity to work with you.

No Return Reply

You call and email real estate agents with no return replies. In most cases, the commission offered to real estate agents from the landlord to find a renter for their property is less than $100.00. I don’t have an easy answer for you in finding a rental. Unfortunately, because of the high demand on time, and the amount paid to find a rental, we are unable to offer these services at this time.

Best Places to find a Rental

The best place to find a seasonal furnished rental is to talk to family & friends that already live and/or own a second home in Arizona. Most Arizona 55 plus communities have a google group or facebook page that will allow you to post an add

Several of the large Retirement Communities such as; Sun City, Sun City West, Sun City Grand, and Sun Lakes have a list of homeowners that are offering their homes for rent. I would recommend googling the homeowners association office for these communities and call the office with rental questions. Any tips that you discover when looking for a rental, that you would like me to share on this page with others would be much appreciated.

Beware of Rental Scams

There are a lot of rental scams. Make sure to do your homework before signing a lease. Find out the name of the property owner and search tax records to verify that the individual you are dealing with does have the right to lease the property you are inquiring about. Sorry I couldn’t be of more help to you. I wish you well in your rental search and hope that I can assist you with buying an Arizona home in the future

Arizona Great Place to Live

Arizona is a great place to live especially in the winter time. The dry desert weather seems to diminish the aches and pains of arthritis (this is why I live here). My wife and I would have liked to live near water. We have visited Florida many times but, the humidity was more than we could handle. Florida’s average winter temperature is not very warm unless you live way down on the southern tip.

My wife and I Love Arizona and hope that you will too. This web site was developed to show you that owning a second home in Arizona can be affordable. Explore the homes for sale in the different Arizona 55 plus communities to your left. If you find something that fits your budget — please, give me a call or drop me an email

Search Arizona Furnished Rentals

The Arizona Furnished Rental search below is only offered as a guide to give you an idea of how much is being charged for furnished rentals in the Phoenix area. Again, we are unable to service the high demand for seasonal rentals. Also, the list below has homes in both retirement and non-retirement communities.
