Superstition Mountain

Superstition Mountain
We have had a nice summer in Arizona. It has been much cooler than normal but, the humidity has been much higher that normal (at-least it feels that way). My wife and I went for a drive around sunset last night (in between rain storms). We drove out by Superstition Mountain, and snapped this gorgeous picture. Thought you might enjoy.  With all of the recent rains, the desert is dark green – absolutely gorgeous! In ten year of living in Arizona – I have never seen the desert this green. This mountain range is located in Apache Junction, Arizona. There are many great hiking paths and picnic area’s on both sides of the mountain. If you are lucky, maybe you can find the Lost Dutchman Gold Mine (I get 10% of anything you find.
The heavy rain from hurricane Odile – went south and east of the Phoenix Metro area. After the heavy rain from the previous week (most rain in one day that has been recorded) it is probably a good thing the storm missed us. Tuscon was hit hard by both of these storms (lots of flooding).
Hope you all have a great weekend! If you need any assistance with finding a home in Arizona – Please don’t hesitate to call 480-710-6326
