Sun Lakes is five separate 55+ communities south of Chandler — Sun Lakes Country Club, Cottonwood, Palo Verde, Ironwood, and Oakwood — all built by Robson between 1972 and 1994. Over those years Robson used one shared library of model designs across the communities, which is why you’ll see the same plan names (Barcelona, Marbella, Palacia and the rest) come up all over Sun Lakes. Below is the full model roster with sizes, bedrooms, baths and garage, plus a quick way into each community’s current listings. Once you spot the two or three plans that fit, tell us and we’ll find them in the community that suits you.

The Sun Lakes model roster
Robson’s models, grouped by size. Bedroom counts show the base plan — where a plan lists a den or guest suite, it can usually be finished as an extra bedroom (every plan here is at least two bedrooms and two baths). Most homes are single-level; the largest estate plans (the two-story Galleria 3410, Marbella 3411/3421, and Lexia) are the exceptions, noted below.

What Sun Lakes homes sell for
Because the same Robson plans show up in all five communities, the community you pick often matters more than the plan. Here is what homes sold for in the 90 days before late September 2026:
Sun Lakes Country Club: about $180,000 to $460,000
Cottonwood: about $285,000 to $705,000
Palo Verde: about $320,000 to $695,000
Ironwood: about $355,000 to $725,000
Oakwood: about $328,000 to $800,000
So the same plan can cost more in a guard-gated community like Palo Verde, Ironwood or Oakwood than in Sun Lakes Country Club or Cottonwood. These figures mix home types in some communities, and a few had only a handful of sales.

Common questions
Where can I find Sun Lakes retirement community floor plans?
Right on this page. Sun Lakes is five 55+ and active adult communities built by Robson, and we list every Robson model across all of them by size, with bedrooms and baths. Tell us the size and layout you want, and we’ll match you to the plan — and the community — that fits.
Are Sun Lakes homes single-level?
Almost all are. A few of the largest estate plans are two-story (flagged above), but the great majority of Sun Lakes homes are single-level living.

Floor plan information: Model names, square footages, bedroom/bath and garage counts are the builder’s (Robson) base-plan facts, compiled from the plan sheets for general information. Robson offered most plans in multiple sizes and allowed semi-custom options, and homes were personalized over the years, so a specific home may differ. This page presents facts only and does not reproduce the builder’s floor-plan drawings. Always confirm the exact square footage, bedroom, bath, and garage count on any home with a licensed home inspection and your agent before you rely on it. Listings are drawn from the Arizona Regional MLS and are believed accurate but not guaranteed. Jarl Kubat is a licensed Arizona real estate agent.
